Framework agreement for flow measurement with Stockholm Vatten
21/11/2024

Stockholm Vatten och Avfall (SVOA) is Sweden’s largest water and waste utility, providing services to approximately 1.5 million residents and businesses across the Stockholm region.
Under the previous framework agreement with SVOA (2020–2024), we carried out several hundred installations of precipitation, level, and flow meters.
To ensure high measurement quality, SVOA sets requirements for measuring equipment. The framework agreement’s requirements for VH flow meters include, among others:
- Must measure velocity using a cross-correlation sensor.
- Must have at least two level sensors.
- Must support wireless data transmission via GSM or equivalent.
- Communication must function even when loggers are placed beneath manhole covers.
- Raw data must be stored on the VH flow meter, not only provided as a computed result.
